Re: separating tracks
I've tried all of the steps above (updating from your link, Exporting Multiple with all the appropriate checkmarks, etc.), but it's still not saving separate tracks. Instead it simply exports as a single file, oddly named "untitled" even though the project is named. I get this result whet...

Re: Lame encoder for windows 10
At what step exactly in the instructions at http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#lame does nothing happen? Are you running the installer as an administrator, as you should do? You should at the least be able to download "libmp3lame-win-3.99.3.zip" from ht...

Before decimal separator was only comma. audacity-win-r7466ca7-2.1.2-alpha-02-aug-15.zip, Windows 8.1, system language Russian, programe setting language English. Am I correct that with system region set to Russian, Audacity language set to English, audacity-win-r3715b21-2.1.2-alpha-31-jul-15.zip w...

Re: Providing a build with WDM-KS support
I have read the instructions on how to build Audacity from source, and add WDM-KS support, but I am not a programmer Neither am I, but I still manage to build Audacity ;) Programming skills are definitely not required. The "nightly" builds are supposed to reflect what the users will recei...

Re: Crashing on Yosemite
This evening Audacity 2.1.1 crashed on Yosemite when plugging in my second display. This is the second time this has happened. Last time it was with Audacity 2.1.0. Actually, it has happened every time I connect the second display if is Audacity is open. This time it was doing nothing, just sitting...

Re: Spitfish problem: real-time previewed effect is stronger
The de-esser effect is dependent of the content of the audio. If the audio being analysed by the plugin, which controls the amount of effect applied, was out-of-sync because of a latency-problem, then the effect-preview and the applied-effect will sound different because they are being defined by d...

Re: From 44.1 to 48,0 KHz
If you set Default Sample Rate in Quality Preferences to 48000 Hz then all new projects will be at that rate. However if you import a file that has some other sample rate into a new project, the project rate will change to the rate of that file. There is rarely any need to explicitly use Tracks > Re...

Re: "Internal PortAudio error" when USB FX-unit is plugged
Audacity can't use ASIO unless you compiled Audacity yourself. Audacity does not yet officially support Windows 10. Have you installed the "Line 6 Monkey Installer Version 1.71 Released 7/23/15 for Windows 10" and restarted the computer? See http://uk.line6.com/software/ (change the dropdo...

Re: How to set up microphone so i can hear myself sing
What microphone is it (make and model number)? Unless the mic has a headphones port you probably don't want to hear yourself other than acoustically with the headphones off one ear - all playthrough passed through the computer via software has latency. See Why can’t I hear what I’m recording? . Gale
