Re: Low frequency roll-off for speech
It is not yet in for Audacity 2.1.2. The next release is supposed to be about upgrading to Wx3 rather than adding new features. As this is not related to that upgrade and is not a bug fix I'm hesitant about introducing it now, though you may want to suggest this on the QA list as a low risk enhance...

Re: Windows 8 background process, what is it?
This is nothing to do with Audacity, nor is is "normal" for Windows 8. Do I assume what you want to record is game commentary? What are your computer specifications? Have you modded/overclocked the system? To me it sounds like the focus of your investigation should be processes that start ...

Re: Importing MOV files with 2.1.1 is excruciatingly slow
After importing the file, please show us Help > Show Log... so we can see what importer is opening the file and what path it is being imported from. If possible, please post the file (or an example you are able to post) online somewhere and give us the URL to download it. This is in case there is so...

Re: Trying to playback 32 channels to ASIO device
Audacity currently only supports mono/stereo playback. Multi-channel playback is one of the highest rated feature requests, but currently we don't have a developer to work on it. I've added your vote for this feature. Thanks so much for the clarification. Would it be possible to add this informatio...

Re: Temporary file
does Windows 8 get deleted automatically the audio files placed in the file "Temp" at the end of a few days? I don't believe so. You must have already configured an automatic cleanup in some software. The code Nyquist allows to look for an audio file only in the file: Users\...(name)...\A...

Re: InternalPortAudio error since windows 10 update
I'm happy to Have seen Dalchina's post. Like him, I upgraded to Windows 10, but have had to revert all the way back to v2.03 to get the Audio Devices recognised within Audacity. Windows 10 fully recognises and enables my devices OK, and I've not had audio problems with any other software. The recom...

Re: Audacity problem with Guitar Rig 5, Windows 8.1
Are you using Guitar Rig 5 Pro or the free Guitar Rig Player? Guitar Rig 5. I'd rather spent some $ than buy every single effect in existence (and amps). What version of Audacity are you using? Lastest, 2.1.1. I just downloaded the 2.0.6 version to check if it's the version fault. Does the problem ...
