Re: Unable to record using a Blue Yeti (USB)
Make sure you don't have Sound Activated Recording selected. Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Recording [_] Sound Activated Recording (de-select). Sound Activated Recording would show the Pause button enabled when recording was not loud enough. So I don't think that is the problem. I suggest trying ...

Re: Windows 10
Do you have an update for Windows 10 running Microsoft Edge? The current Audacity release is 2.1.1 from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . Audacity does not officially support Windows 10 but should be fine if your audio devices have manufacturer-supplied drivers meant for Windows 10. It thi...

The README relates to each release, so during the alpha period it is at the previous release.mmcev106 wrote:I read 2.1.1 from the README.txt, which I guess hasn't been updated yet.

Re: Compiling with OS X Yosemite, Xcode 6.4, and wxWidgets 3
I am trying to build master from github (which is 2.1.1). No, master is 2.1.2-alpha. wxWidgets 3.0.2 does not build out of the box on Yosemite Yes it does, or I would not be saying so. I built wxWidgets 3.0.2 on a clean installation of OS X 10.10.4. I should mention that while I'm running Yosemite,...

Re: Pause activated unduly
Mine is a DELL XPS computer. DELL has a program called DellSystemDetect, said to detect driver problems. I downloaded it. It won't run. I give up. Driver detection programs often don't run. Security implemented in your browser or by installed security apps may cause errors. So, look manually. ;) Go...

Re: Running Audacity with Windows 10
I have run into a problem with running Audacity on Windows 10. Whenever I run it, it doesn't recognize the soundcard anymore. My soundcard runs fine with all other types of software. Is this a compatibility issue with Audacity and Windows 10? Are you working on a solution for the problem? Right now...

Re: Shaded waveform view (when zoomed out)
Given there is no spectrogram I wouldn't know how to interpret that unless you told me. I had attached a spectrogram. But the proposal does not involve adding a spectrogram to the new waveform view, for example in the vertical scale, does it? Although I can sense lighter and darker shades in the wa...
