Re: WAV file is not read
It certainly seems to be a bug in the application that it crashes so frequently. If it was me I would use FFmpeg and not Raw Import - FFmpeg is just quicker and you don't have to delete the clicks at the start of each track. You could add a rule in Extended Import Preferences : *loopback*.WAV Drag &...

Re: Trim Silence
Is there any chance we could test and decide on a definitive version, ideally with the extra option to retain a fixed amount of leading/trailing silence, and post it to http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins ? I have to find this topic and suggest it to users at least once a month...

Re: Export as MP3 fails for unknown reason / infinite proces
Actually, the name contained dashes (not slashes). Erasing them doesn’t change a thing. The HD has 600 GB free. :| Are you exporting to the HD or to somewhere else? Is the folder you are exporting to buried deep within numerous subfolders, so the path to the file has a very long name? What happens ...

Re: Recording doesn't work ? Latency problem ! :/
Done. But again It's the same problem and same message. :( Recording doesn't work. Audacity will not give you the message about latency correction if Overdub is off. Recording will still stall if the reason for the stall is not corrected. Please see the pink panel at the top of the page and tell us...

Re: cursor only zooms in and out [SOLVED]
This morning when I loaded the saved WAV file the cursor is working normally - ie. I can edit the recording. It seems saving the file, exiting the program and restarting cleared it up. Thank you for the tip information and prompt response. It seems to me you enabled Zoom Tool in Tools Toolbar . Pre...

My computer environment: - Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1: 64 Bit - McAfee VirusScan Enterprise - audacity-win-2.1.1.exe When our IT goes to install this application as an Admin, the Audacity exe file does not execute once the admin credentials are provided. Could your IT Manager be doing some...
