Re: Problems to set up effects.
Is it a Debian package of Calf Yes. https://packages.debian.org/jessie/calf-plugins OK, that's a later package than mine. I presume Ubuntu 15.04 would also have that package. Get_Ready could perhaps upgrade to 15.04, but there seems to be a question mark over Calf stability in Audacity. Is that whe...

Re: bug customizing keyboard shortcuts
I suggest you use the current Audacity 2.1.1 from http://audacityteam.org/download/mac . I can't customize some keyboard commands = Audacity won't register my combination once "set" is keyed in. ex: I wan't to make a zoom in keyshort. I key in cmd + 1; I press "set"; OK. Result: ...

Re: Software Configuration set up issues
I have just purchased Amos turntables AM27805 and have installed Audacity software, 1.3.9 Beta (unicode). Sorry, but as it says in the pink panel at the top of the page, 1.3.x versions of Audacity are obsolete. We no longer offer technical support for them. Please uninstall 1.3.9 then install the c...

Re: Audacity exporting issue
I am a new Audacity user and I am having a challenge exporting my audio file as it was created in Audacity. First off, I am using version 2.0.5 of Audacity and version 10.10.5 Yosemite on my Mac. Thanks. That version is old now. The current version is 2.1.1 ( http://audacityteam.org/download/mac )....

Re: Slim down the Click Track interface
Might some users not want MIDI note-based generation, especially if we can include a beep sound? The current scheme is not convenient if you want to generate based on a pitch, because you have to know the MIDI number. But with the new scheme it seems you have to somehow know what the default "u...

Re: Problems to set up effects.
Calf does not have more than a 12-band equalizer There is a 30-band graphic equalizer in the Calf pack that I have. I definitely don't have that. Is it a Debian package of Calf or did you compile it from source code? It generally runs ok, but when I close the effect window, Audacity crashes. Is tha...

Re: change speed question
I am using the Audacity 2.1.1 , Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and digitizing some old live cassette tapes and have a tape that plays one semitone higher than it should . The person who recorded it had a deck that ran faster. I.E. what should be in the key of C is playing in the key of C# If a problem of ...

Re: FLAC exported as a 16/24bit FLAC?
I have provided some samples used to create the earlier track (the 16bit and 24bit tracks) at the bottom of this post; these samples were made in Eac3to. To reproduce that track from above, I copied 0 to 1840ms (inclusive) from the 16bit track and pasted it overtop of the 0 to 1840ms section (inclu...

Re: Problems to set up effects.
Can you say what you would do to make a crash happen? I don't currently have them installed, but as a typical crash scenario: While running real-time preview, click the bypass button in the effect GUI. I tried that several times on different Calf plugins, both playing audio before opening the plugi...
