Re: Copying material from Tutorials
I am very pleased with my use of your help site. I do have a positive suggestion. The tutorials are easy to understand and very helpful. I like to print them out because I find it difficult to jump back and forth from the problem area and the tutorial, so I try to copy them on paper (Ctrl A, Ctrl C...

Re: Help with editing
I think I have saved a sample of the recording where the outside noise occyrred. I will try to attach it I doubt the furnace caused the clicks. You have severe overshoot clipping where the samples reverse polarity. Instead of flat topping at the positive (top) part of the waveform, they shoot down ...

Re: No waveform when recording [SOLVED]
SOLVED ..... Somehow the sound had switched from headset mic to PC mic....sorted. Breathes sigh of relief As previously suggested, it's best to choose the named recording device that you want to record from in Device Toolbar, rather than "Sound Mapper - Input" or "Primary Sound Captu...

Re: Regular popping during playback
You could try higher Audio to buffer in Audacity. You are probably going to have to fiddle with that whether or not you delete the ProTools kernel extension. Also make sure you have the Audacity project rate (bottom left) set to the same sample rate that the Mbox input and output are set to in /Appl...

Re: Slim down the Click Track interface
If, for example, a person wants to play their piano in the key of C major, and wants a "click" that has definable pitch tuned to the tonic ("C") and the default is A 440 Hz, then surely it would be trivial for them to create a click track with a discernible pitch and find that n...

Re: Audio falling behind capture card recording
The game audio isn't being played through the PC, i'm recording from my Xbox 360 & recording commentary audio on PC I see, I missed the meaning of of "console gameplay" in your first message. Is it possible to play the game on the Windows 10 Xbox app? That gives you an additional poss...

Re: USB Vinyl to Computer all sound tinny
Personally I agree. I found it near-impossible to remove soap stickiness from vinyl. If you are selling/passing on the vinyl to someone else after digitizing it, it's not fair on the receiving party to use soap.Shaky wrote:Do not use soap and tap water!!
78's can cope with soap a little better.

Distilled water should not have that problem - and I never bought it on eBay - it was from Keith Monks recommended suppliers.cyrano wrote:You'll always need a tiny amount of soap to break hardness, unless you are so lucky to live in an area with soft tap water.

Re: Audio falling behind capture card recording
Yeah, no matter what i try with the USB soundcard, nothing has worked, the only thing i can do is connect my microphone to the microphone part of the Y-Splitter And is the game audio then playing on the computer sound device? And is the video then synced with the game audio and commentary? Did you ...
