Hello sorry for the late reply, padding the gaps between speech was exactly what i was looking for. As for the mic i have disabled my headset mic in windows so it shouldn't be a problem at all, just think the gain is too high. Haven't had any issues with fraps and audacity running at the same time ...

If this was a recording you never edited, you can try a recovery of four "d" folders at a time using the "1.2 Recovery Utility". That would give you two WAV files to work with. See Recovering crashes manually . It was edited, unfortunately. Does that mean the recovery won't work...

I miss shorter times to edit the voice and so bring that feeling of broadcast/radio voiceover audios.
