Re: Sample Tank 3 Plugin?

As I said, Audacity does not support VST instruments . Have you looked at Sample Tank 3's manual? I cannot find an answer online, but there must be some way to save as audio or MIDI. If there really isn't any way to save audio, then play your instruments in Sample Tank 3 and record that playback int...

Re: Problem with vocals doing vinyl to CD conversion

Plus Do you have the turntable's RCA cables connected to anything? Do the vocals sound OK if you connect the RCA cables to the phono inputs of an amplifier and listen through speakers attached to the amplifier? Do you have a known correct-sounding song on WAV or MP3 that you can drag into Audacity? ...

Re: Chain sounds different than manual editing

Might you have pulled on your speaker or headphone cord by accident after applying the Chain to the project? This is the most likely explanation. Does it sound "not through a tin can" if you Edit > Undo the Chain?

Re: Audacity crashes WHILE saving project.

You have 2376 AU files in the project's _data folder that are not referenced in the AUP file. These are called "orphan block files" in the log. If this AUP.BAK file (now renamed to AUP extension) is a very old state of the project, this is not really unexpected. What you needed is the AUTO...

Re: Chain sounds different than manual editing

Where does it sound like you are talking through a can? Did you change your speakers or headphones or turn on sound effects in your sound card? Are you applying the Chain to files or to a project? Is the problem in a file you exported and did you reduce the sample rate when you exported? In other wo...

Re: Started skipping

I am having the same problem. The program has worked great for months and only now decided to start skipping. I have done nothing different. I downloaded Lame 2 months ago and never had any problems until now. I uninstalled the program today and reinstalled and it is still skipping. I can't figure ...

Re: Audacity crashes WHILE saving project.

You tried to open or import a file called "AUP" without any extension, so it failed.

Name your AUP.BAK file "Godzilla Vs Gigan City In Anarchy First-Person view.aup" , use File > Open... to open that file, then attach the log for that action.

Re: waveform size

The Forum does not work properly with TIFF images.

What stops you using COMMAND + 1 in Audacity to zoom in until the waveform is detailed enough?

Re: Sample Tank 3 Plugin?

VST-bridge was not a 64-bit to 32-bit wrapper. JBridge is a 64-bit to 32-bit wrapper. That or similar is what you would use to make Audacity see a 64-bit VST effect. But even with that I doubt much of Sample Tank 3 would be usable in Audacity, if it showed up at all. Yes if you can save from Sample ...
