Re: Project Corruption on Export

Since the files are all so big, I've uploaded everything to a public Google Drive folder, so feel free to have a look and see what you think. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6bvRU1Y6Eb4QnZLaWNUTklsMTA?usp=sharing Is this project OK, but will break when you export? Or will it become worse a...

Re: System Audio Recorder not working

My audacity system audio recorder Again, that application is nothing to do with us. Macs do not intend you to record computer playback, so any application that tries to do this has to go through a lot of hoops. Having different applications trying to record computer playback in competition with eac...

Re: "could not create autosave file"

Upgrade to Audacity 2.1.3 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows . Gale Windows 7 Audacity 2.1.1 When I do a usual amplification, the m...

Re: Audacity won't start (Ubuntu 16.10) error

An Audacity package installation in /usr/ should not be pointing to portaudio in usr/local/lib. That local portaudio seems to be the problem. I assume you could mess up your optional applications if you interfere with the local portaudio, so try launching Audacity from the terminal thus: LD_LIBRARY_...

Re: Project Corruption on Export

I was using 2.1.1. on a Mac Air running Sierra 10.12.4. Please use 2.1.3 if you have not already upgraded. To export I went: File - Export Audio, and used WAV 32bit Float PCM Before the export the audio is fine, after the export both the project and the exported audio are corrupted. In the case of ...

It's still a good idea though ;)
Is that then a +1 from Steve? Is it a metering option, or does everyone see it?

So you want me, living as I do in Sunny Southern California (land of fruits and nuts) to describe to you a British Broadcasting Corporation Peak Program Meter? Re: Audacity running incredibly slow and crashing

The "time remaining" problem if you have tracks of very different lengths has now been fixed in the current Audacity 2.1.3 release from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows . So I suggest you upgrade. Even in the version you have now, the effect does complete in normal time if you ...

Re: Turning on and off effects
