Re: Subtract one track from another..
The only explanation that I can think of is that they are NOT IDENTICAL (though they may be extremely similar). For cancellation to occur the audio samples must be exactly the same value at exactly the same time but with reverse polarity. Steve, You have to use an application that aligns the signal...

Re: Could not find any audio devices Error
I hot my Pc from computer specialist which is a site where u decide what things you want for your PC so there won't be a model number because it's unique The advice on http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Windows_10_OS still applies. Re: windows 8 audacity sound input problem
Yeah but that didn't solve it. What finally did it was making that particular line-in the default line whilst the usb audacity input is plugged in. This was all very annoying, why didn't my pc recognize the audacity as an input? I have to manually adjust every single time but at least I've finally ...

Re: Consecutive numbering across projects
Moved to "Adding Features". In my perfect world there'd be some sort of project-wide property that allowed me to set the starting track number, and this was reflected in both the metadata editor and filenaming functions without me having to tweak each track's metadata during the export pro...

Re: windows 10 missing instruments in USB vinyl recording
The missing instrument is in neither channel. What channel is it in, when you listen in speakers attached to the USB turntable? My guess is it's a win 10 problem since I didn't have a problem with win7 or a mac. Is it possible win10 is not recognizing a driver or something? Probably not, unless the...
