Re: Audacity records both game audio and microphone input
I don't have your headset. Did you install the drivers from the CD and so you have an audio manager, or not? I have looked on the Sentey site for you. Is this what you have http://www.sentey.com/en/arches-black-gs-4730 ? If so have you read the instructions that come with it? Do you have an audio ma...

Re: El Capitan and Soundflower 1.6 Audacity crashing [SOLVED
I'll close and lock this given I understand you can now record from Soundflower.
If you receive more Audacity crashes, please start a new topic with as much detail as you can.

The log should not be completely empty.AM555 wrote:The log file is coming up blank.
Before embarking on recovery, you might want to drag some of the AU files into Audacity and make sure they contain your content.

Re: Recovered project flatlined
I am running MAC 10.10, and Audacity 2.0.6. I know I did several things wrong that led to this outcome, so bear with me. I had taped a 56 minute interview and didn't save it immediately, when i tried to begin editing, Audacity was frozen Although probably not relevant to your issue, Audacity 2.0.6 ...

Re: Audacity records both game audio and microphone input
If you installed the drivers on the CD I think this may install an audio manager control panel. Look at the settings there.

Re: New installation but cannot preset for Mono recording on
Device Toolbar can be used to set Recording Channels to mono. This applies whatever device you use. The setting is saved per user. Are you saying that setting mono there does not stick? If so please give us the necessary information from the pink panel at the top of the page. Give us the make and m...

Re: Nothing in the manual is what I see with the program ope
Presumably the USB device is the "Cassette capture" device referred to in the user's previous topic. If you connected the cassette player after launching Audacity, look in the Audacity menu bar at the top of the screen and use Transport > Rescan Audio Devices. Then click in the Recording d...
