Re: Segmentation Fault on Raspbian Jesse
In a nutshell, Audacity doesn't officially support Raspberry Pi hardware or Pi OS'es, notably because the hardware is underpowered. One or two developers or users have got it working after a fashion but with more recent Audacity than the obsolete version you have. What do these terminal commands ret...

Re: Where recordings are saved
Please don't post your own question into a completely unrelated topic, because that gets confusing for everyone. I started a new topic for you. Does anyone know where the songs are stored after I record them? I can't find them anywhere. I'm recording streaming audio from the internet on ver2.1.0 and...

Re: I seem to record unplugged speakers...
It's just a cheap trust a cheap Trust standalone microphone. I just want to record voice with audacity and use dxtory to record the game sounds. The issue I'm facing is audacity records my headphones very faintly, but audible even when they aren't even plugged in. it's not set to stereomix at all C...

Re: Windows 10 Recover Data Files
Not unless James is saving his projects in the Audacity temp folder or some other folder called "temp". That would be a serious mistake, if so.waxcylinder wrote:Gale, is this another instance of bug #1271: http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271

Re: Random hangs?
Updated drivers, hangs still happen at times. I force close and restore with restart of program. So has this only just started happening? If yes, did you change anything on the system related to audio? Uploaded a screen shot. Note playback levels hung as though still playing but at bottom it says &...

Re: Windows 10 Recover Data Files
Please help me recover my lost data files. I had just finished a recording I had been working on for over a month, I saved the project as normal, closed it, and now when I try to open the project, it is showing that my "song _ data" is not found. I looked in the folder where all of my pro...

Re: I overwrote my project file; any way to retrieve?
The AUP file has a large chunk of entries missing which means that it only knows about the start of one channel of a stereo track and the end of another channel of some track. There is no easy way to reconstruct it. So I am afraid your only hope assuming you never edited the recording before the sha...

Hi, I'm here 'cause I also have an issue with audacity converting a 6ch DTS audio to a 6ch aac. I prefer to explained visually, so I capture an image of what I'm doing and the problem itself.
