Re: "Single Band Parametric" occasionally losing "Enable"
I did notice a display anomaly: When scrolling the display vertically it's possible to get the vertical scale of the top audio track overlaid upon itself with an offset. It recovers when scrolled out of that position. Please give us more steps if you can. Number of tracks, if the vertical display i...

Re: "Single Band Parametric" occasionally losing "Enable"
I cannot produce it to order and have to click faster in the Enable box than it would be possible to hear the difference (even faster than Trebor was clicking). My typical toggling speed would be every few seconds, that rate too can also cause Audacity to crash, i.e. toggling "Enable" sev...

Re: Missing Audio Data Block File(s) that aren't exactly mis
Ah, I should have included the fact that I uploaded them to Google Drive and then downloaded them onto a different computer. Different computer does not matter as long as you copied in any imported WAV or AIFF files and the the AU files are in the correct subfolders in the _data folder. If you look...

Re: 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 Won't Launch
I had, however, as part of my attempt to solve this, put the app at root level of Applications folder Were the other contents of the "Audacity" folder in root of /Applications or still in /Applications/Audacity? Separating audacity.app from the folders that go with it will mean that you w...

Re: Real time VST and undo effects
I guess you could call it a P4 bug. There are a few other "no op" Nyquist plug-ins, though we don't currently ship any of them. What about the "Get Noise Profile" step in Noise Reduction? It does not affect the project, and Undoing does not undo the profile. I don't think that i...

Re: Terry West bug in 2.1.2
Sorry I cannot reproduce that on Windows 10. I have After "1.2 2012".themickster wrote:Select All > open After > play. If any effect other than the aforesaid Gain, Monoize or New York is switched on, all sound is muted.
I can't try XP right now.

Re: Real time VST and undo effects
I think I can see how this could be changed so that ACX Check does not get added to the Undo history. The general case here is "If an effect does not change the state of the project, it should not be added to the Undo history". If Gale agrees that this is a bug, then I 'may' be able to fi...

Re: "Single Band Parametric" occasionally losing "Enable"
The only circumstance which may be a trigger for the fault, is rapidly & repeatedly checking-then-unchecking the enable tick-box while the track is playing. Rapid toggling VST 'Enable' apparently is causing Audacity to crash.ogv I assume that is Windows XP? I don't get a crash on Windows 10 in ...
