Re: "Single Band Parametric" occasionally losing "Enable"

I did notice a display anomaly: When scrolling the display vertically it's possible to get the vertical scale of the top audio track overlaid upon itself with an offset. It recovers when scrolled out of that position. Please give us more steps if you can. Number of tracks, if the vertical display i...

Re: 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 Won't Launch

We went from 2.0.6 to 2.1.0 to reflect the introduction of real-time preview. 2.1.1 had a bug that could cause it not to launch: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=86508 . You were likely not helping by moving Audacity.app from its folder. We do not recommend doing that. If you w...

Re: Recording Live DJ sets from Pioneer DJM900NXS Audio Dela

I can send you the file, but it's 113mb big. So how do i upload such a big file here to the forums? We don't need to listen to the whole show, just a short selection where we can hear the problem. The upload limit is 2MB. I can't cut it cause i don't know the exact points. How about playing the fil...

Re: recorded file wiht no sound

my audacity version is 2.1.1 and i am using windows 7 and its doesnt play in audacity and bs player. A 2.25 GB WAV file should play in Audacity. What we are saying is that WAV files over 2 GB may be too large for some players. Do you see tall blue waves in Audacity when you import that file? If you...

Re: Audacity in Debian 7

Audacity cannot import the file directly.

I believe the answer is no on Linux. You can try mplayer but it does not claim to support pspadpcm. It supports pspcelp.

On Windows, play the file and record it into Audacity as it plays.

Re: Real time VST and undo effects

Also if capturing the Noise Profile is made a no-op, would "Repeat Last Effect" still be available after capturing the noise profile, so that you could apply the captured profile at current effect settings without reopening the effect? No it wouldn't. "Repeat Last Effect" repeat...

Re: 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 Won't Launch

By all means test, but please do so with 2.1.2, not 2.1.1. I see only 2.1.1 on the official download page. Presumably you have 2.1.2 RC1, given you said at the outset that 2.1.2 did not launch. 2.1.2 has not been released yet and there will be a second release candidate RC2 in due course, but 2.1.2...

Re: "Single Band Parametric" occasionally losing "Enable"

Just tried 2.1.2 RC1 (installed from the zip). None of the built-in effects are in the menu, but the installed effects are! What did I do wrong? I'm using Vista home premium, 64 bit. [edit] I tried downloading 2.1.1 (installer) and installing 2.1.1 that way. Still no built-in effects in the menu, b...
