Re: Audacity 2.1.1 stops recording but not frozen

What version of Windows? What is the make and model number of the mic? Does it support the version of Windows you are using? If you want to record for 10 hours you should use a hardwired mic, not USB that run out of resources. Try cold booting the computer. If you are on Windows 8 or later, that mea...

Re: Problème lecture platine USB

Je ne parle pas français natif. Configurer l'appareil de lecture pour haut-parleurs et cliquez dans le barre d'enregistrement, en plus de permettre "audio logiciel de passage".

Re: Checksum added to MP3

Audacity records in lossless PCM, so you will have to create the checksum after MP3 export from Audacity. There are lots of standalone utilities to do this and some utilities like hex editors include checksum tools.

Except in this case there is no saved project, so it is the AUTOSAVE file and the "project893826679" folder.

Re: Selection Toolbar hidden outside Audacity

If you have a problem, please post to the Windows board. I moved your post from "Adding Features". I think I should uninstall Aud and reinstall because at the very bottom where it shows project rate ,selection start, end length, audio position is hidden behind XP's tool bar. When I minimize ...

Re: No sound in exported FLAC or WAV - MP3 = ok

The maximum sample rate for MP3 is 48000 Hz so you did not export a 384000 Hz MP3. 44100 Hz carries all the frequency information that humans can hear. The arguments for going higher are relatively weak and the disk space and computer resources required are out of proportion to the benefits. See htt...

Re: recorded file wiht no sound

i have no blue waves when i load the file in my audacity :(. Did you have blue waves when you first recorded it? If you don't have blue waves in the recording, just a flat line, you don't have any recording. It could be that Norton or some cleanup application deleted your recording before you could...

Re: won't recognize audio devices

USB Audio Codec was the setting I had been using (I'm pretty sure) all this time You cannot play sounds from your computer to the USB turntable. Are you using USB speakers as well as a USB turntable? so are my audio drivers; I get perfect audio from streams and my MP3 player. Audacity queries if th...

If Edit > Labeled Audio had a Trim command, or if there was Tracks > Invert Labels, the task would have been much easier.

Re: question about change timescale change to 432hz

You have the choice to use Change Speed and accept the track becomes longer, or Change Pitch, which means the track stays more or less the same length.
