Did you notice "Operating System" under the user's name?cyrano wrote:Did you notice the pink box?
We usually need the Audacity version number but from the description it is obviously either 2.1.1 or a 2.1.2 RC.

Re: recording sound tinny
We know which Windows - we now require this on registration. I changed your username to joeac, so that it does not contain your e-mail address. It is a terrible idea to use your e-mail address because nasty spambots will see your address then send you spam. Please log in with your new username joeac...

Re: Recording plays a semitone low
I did pass on your deliberations to my old man (who's getting extremely terse with my activites!) who pointed out that I should remind my "informants" (!) that he's trying to get audio from Audacity to the Roland, not the other way around. He's totally convinced that it's the fault of the...

Re: Pioneer DJM 750
Have you visited http://www.pioneerdj.com/en-us/support/software/djm-750/#drivers and installed the DJM 750 driver for El Capitan? If not, please try that. Note that driver requires minimum of OS X 10.11.1 not the original El Capitan, so make sure your El Capitan is updated. Also note that you may n...

Re: Sound dies when running audacity
If you don't have the issue with the built in sound card then you could use a wired headset with pink and green connectors. You can go to the Logitech site and see if your headset requires special drivers. Did you try another USB port? If you require further assistance please go to Help > Audio Devi...

Re: Recovery dilemma, cant get past errors
After cleaning the empty data out of the AUTOSAVE file you only have about 13 minutes of stereo recording to recover (256 AU files). 256 AU files are "missing" according to the log, so presumably Audacity cannot find any of the recording. I suggest you force quit the badly recovered projec...

Re: Recovery dilemma, cant get past errors
I am stumped after my pc crashed during a recording You should take PC crashes seriously. Did you make sure you have latest drivers for your built-in sound device, like you said you were going to do? Assuming you have a branded computer like Dell or Lenovo, go to their site and download the latest ...

Re: Please add your operating system information
Thanks, Steve. I edited one minute after you and added Vista, which wasn't in the list.
Perhaps you pressed Save above the list? That would probably not save the change. What I did was press "Profile type specific options" then save in the screen that appeared.
