Re: Clicking While Recording Every Two Minutes
I would not especially recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. It was an add-on for Windows 7 and was essentially dumbed down to be ineffectual as an AntiVirus app in order not to harm the market for Windows AntiVirus app vendors. In contrast Windows Defender that comes with Windows 10 is finally b...

Re: Clicking While Recording Every Two Minutes
That's a little disturbing right there. It's not like this microphone has billions of options. There are only three I know of, and they're hardware switch selected. That means this is a generic USB sound device. If each individual device on earth needs to be explicitly supported, the phrase "a...

Re: Is it possible to use Audacity to decrypt...
When I import the raw data for the suite, both right and left of the stereo are solid blue blocks. Is it a WAV or AIFF file? If not you cannot use Import Raw Audio. Even if it is a WAV or AIFF you have to set the Import Raw properties exactly as per the file. You can use "MediaInfo" from ...

Re: Hoarse voice on recording playback
The driver is the latest Conextant driver 8.66.16.50. I tried to uninstall/delete this to install an older version but it automatically re-install this latest one. That seems to be later than the "8.66.4.0_WHQL" driver offered at the Lenovo site: http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/l...

Unfortunately I cannot get that to happen, but I will keep trying it from time to time.DickN wrote:I had just deleted 1.47 seconds and Horizontal Zoom level was 1 click in. I hit space bar to play from the point of deletion and there was no horizontal scroll.

Re: Losing/Lost Audio
What happens if you only record audio? I haven't tried this yet so I'm not sure. Though when this happened last time, I was confused. So what I did was keep the Audacity window up on my screen while I recorded and it didn't remove anything. Kind of thing where me watching it throughout the process ...

Re: Losing/Lost Audio
No I'm recording everything all at once. Capture device, and wedcam via QuickTime and then Audacity. Why not record video and audio in QuickTime or Final Cut Pro (if that is what FCPX is)? No Audacity does not just stop. It seems like it is simply removing chunks of audio from areas which then equa...
