Re: How can I repair corrupted 3GP audio files?

This is not an Audacity problem, and we have already gone beyond call of duty helping you in your quest.

I did not investigate the links in the search query I gave and it is not our job to do so.

Feel free to let us know if you find a solution.

Re: Unhandled Exception expanding after make stereo track

Yikes sorry I was confusing you with Cliff. In that case go to the Windows Nightly Build page http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/ and download http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/i ... jan-16.zip.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Desperate to Recover Data Folder

Note also if you are going to create a new _data folder that the AU files must be in the correct "d" folder (for example "d00" or "d01") inside an "e" folder within the _data folder. You will only have a few "d" folders so in your case the "e&qu...

Re: Waves DeBreath

As this is a "shell" or bundle" plugin I don't think you should move the constituent DLL's, so put "DeBreath.dll" back in C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V9\DeBreath.bundle\Contents\Win32. I tried that "DeBreath V9.2.0" trial on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. It ...

Re: Click removal removes about 5 seconds of tracks

Another possible explanation - if you have Norton, turn off its temporary file cleaner. It may be deleting your temporary Audacity files.

Or save an Audacity project to your Documents folder before starting work.

Change the USB cable and/or make sure it is tight at both ends.

Re: Headphone jack disabled

Especially as you said to [email protected] "A reboot does not correct the problem, even without opening Audacity", it still does not look like an Audacity bug to me. No-one else on Windows 10 has reported similar problems, but you did not give us much detail when you wrote to [email protected]. The Linux...

Re: ALAC info missing / confusing!

CAF is a container format, so can contain various audio codecs. Audacity can export CAF using the "Other uncompressed files" choice, with options for using PCM, float or *-Law audio. The new feature in libsndile 1.0.26 will be that CAF can contain ALAC. iTunes is fine with Apple Lossless i...

Re: How can I repair corrupted 3GP audio files?

Any ideas about what to do with the AMR file? Use a search engine, for example https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=repair+AMR+file . Obviously, exercise caution. In my experience easy solutions offered in YouTube videos with a link to a download are often scams or virus traps. Stick to downloading ap...
