Re: I can't scroll right on audio track
I can't use two finger slide on the trackpad to go left and right. That was what we were hoping might work in 2.1.2, without having to hold SHIFT. But the reported bug is about being zoomed in then dragging the right edge of the selection rightwards beyond the visible end of the project. The track ...

Re: Can I display a position line to Time bar from audio tra
I do think however that when you drag the clip to the editing cursor that we should snap the clip to the cursor by displaying the yellow vertical Boundary Snap Guide line when the clip is snapped. Do you want to vote for that too? Yes, I will certainly vote for that too. A good idea. Vote added. Gale

Re: Workflow on mixing tracks
Aside: Assuming the export behaviour probably won't change without a lot of argument I do think we should warn whenever we export with a Mute button on, not just when all tracks are muted. This prevents nasty surprises. Then add "Exporting tracks with Mute on" to Warnings Preferences. I p...

Re: Workflow on mixing tracks
There is a law that says if you change a behaviour without giving a way to access the old behaviour you are bound to inconvenience someone else who isn't currently complaining. but please don't inconvenience other people assuming you will only cause them "minor" inconvenience. Perhaps I di...

Re: Can I display a position line to Time bar from audio tra
We store votes here http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Feature_Requests but you need an account to edit. I added your "vote" there - a few others want this too. Suppose you have a clip on its own in one track and and you want to align that clip with the editing cursor in another track. All ...

Re: Mouse clicking causing play on waveform
Please, if you need help, give us the full information from the pink panel at the top of the page, including all three Audacity version numbers. It sounds to me that on Windows you have Audacity 2.1.1 or later and are CTRL-clicking in the waveform, which enables Scrubbing and Seeking . The only reas...

Re: Binaural beats plugin error messages
For the first beat frequency it is mandatory after entering the frequency to enter a space and some non-zero value for duration. Otherwise you are creating a non existent frequency that has no duration. Similarly it is pointless (but not an error according to the plugin) to omit duration for subsequ...

Re: Can I display a position line to Time bar from audio tra
When I position the cursor in the time bar at the top, I get a green down arrow and a white line that shows the position in the Audio Track below. What I would love to be able to do, is position the cursor in the Audio Track, and have that time positing line display up to the actual Time Bar, so I ...

Re: Error: Internal PortAudio error
I encounter the same error. I'm running Windows 10 on an MS-Z68 64 bit Intel core i5-2500K with Realtek High Def Audio. I understand what you are saying about Windows 10 drivers, but Audacity 2.0.1 runs fine. It is only when I upgraded to Audacity 2.1.2 that it could not find any device drivers. Th...
