Re: I guess it's best to wait for 2.1.2a? 2 questions.
I'm playing it really safe sticking with Audacity 2.0.0. Haven't been able to successfully download later versions. This is where you download Audacity http://audacityteam.org/download/mac . Maybe I'll wait for 2.1.2a also. "a" means alpha, the work in progress for the next released versi...

Re: Spectral selection labels
I just tried exporting the label track, and it didn't export the frequency limits. I logged that one as an enhancement http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1349 . It also does other weird -sh*t things with selects as you hop about in spectral and back and forth to waveform that I don't ...

Re: Why does RMS change for Mix and Render when only one tra
Thanks Phil. Yes it seems even duplicating track A (or B), copy and paste from one duplicate to the other then Mix and Render to New Track can produce different RMS between original and rendered track. We already had a bug open for Contrast measuring identical tracks differently, which I have update...

Re: Building audacity with wxWidgets 3.1
However audacity-minsrc-2.1 doesn't build on my system on account of some changes in the header files; "const" has been added in a few places. The attached diffs reveal all Two things should be clarified. There is no "audacity-minsrc-2.1" (supplied by us). There are 2.1.0, 2.1.1...

Re: Audacity 2.1 crashes
Nor is there any "2.05" version of Audacity. ;) Please tell us exactly what version of Ubuntu you are using (all four numbers). If you install arbitrary versions of Audacity from Ubuntu repositories these may be illegitimate builds that used a version of wxWidgets that those versions of Au...

Re: 2.1.2 weirdness with spectral selection
You have admitted a blind user entering a frequency selection in Spectral Selection Toolbar then being told to change track view and turn on Spectral Selection is not user-friendly, so I am seeing if we can improve that. How about, if the user types into the spectral selection toolbar, a message bo...

Re: Version 2.1.2 Frozen after launch- fix didn't help
Did you quit or force quit Audacity before deleting the audacity.cfg settings file? If that does not help, does Audacity launch properly if you temporarily stop it trying to recover the project? To try that, open Finder, Go > Go to Folder and type: ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/AutoSave In ...

Re: Pluck Generator
I'm working with the latest version of Audacity (2.1.2) on MacOS X.7.5. I'm currently assembling a set of short pieces in Just intonation in Audacity. Is there a way to either change the midi-note pitch input on the pluck generator to operate via frequency (like all the other generators) or To inco...

Re: Pluck Generator
Actually 2.1.3 is very unlikely before three or four months, as things are right now. There are four release blocking bugs.kozikowski wrote:They are firming up 2.1.3, so it's too late for that version which may hit the streets in a month or two.
