Re: Debug Report, Crash/Quit Loop
I accidentally changed the monitoring Frequency from 30 to 0. This caused a crash. Upon relaunch, Audacity's debug report dialog box appears. After dismissing this, the program crashes/quits. Uninstall/reinstall has no effect. Ideas? Thanks for the report. Do you perhaps mean setting the refresh ra...

Re: Spectral selection labels
Duplicate the track, and somehow "erase" all parts of the spectrogram except the labelled regions, then mute that track and play the original. That would help the viewer see which parts of the spectrogram the labels refer to, because there'd be nothing else. You can have only the labelled...

Re: ringmodwithLFO has a error message
That's not actually an "error" message, it's just a "message" (as it says at the top of the message). The message is a bit cryptic, but after you close and restart Audacity you should not be shown that message again, at least not for the ringmodwithLFO effect. It's nothing to wo...

Re: Add silence from length
Unless the required length is the same for each file, I don't think there is any way that you can automate the process. Converting stereo to mono can be done as a batch process and exporting as WAV can, but changing the sample rate can't and adjusting the length to match another file can't. You can...

Re: I found a fix for dragging and dropping on windows 8.1
I mean dragging and dropping files from explorer into an open window in audacity. In what circumstances does that fail? Running File Explorer without admin rights when Audacity is running as Administrator? Or the reverse case? Are you executing Audacity from a shortcut or executing Audacity directl...

Re: copy stuck in Audacity 2.1.2 under windows 10
After reloading audacity 2.1.2 and resetting preferences as indicated , copy is still out of control including via ctl +C . Paste too even with Ctl+V . Please describe what you mean by "out of control". Note that you can't copy or paste while playing, recording or paused. Press the yellow...
