I have been recommend to use Audacity to trip the first 2 mins of track.....gosh will it not stop autoplaying....this is just an annoying. Those errors are probably due to building against unsupported (too late) system FFmpeg. Audacity does not support greater than FFmpeg 2.3: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#linff . If you don't want FFmpeg support, configure Audacity --without-ffmpeg. Sometimes ...

OK. If you had 2.0.5 or earlier that could silence very long tracks (over 13.5 hours at 44100 Hz sample rate). Your version is very old (the current is 2.1.2) but upgrading won't make any difference.
