I had been told a couple of times that EZ works with other than Ion and Numark turntables but I don't know "which" other turntables.

Re: Mute and unmute microphone while recording?

Perhaps I misunderstand, but if mute/unmute the mic would help, why don't you just stop speaking for 5 seconds between the prompts? Do you want to reduce the low level noise that would create between prompts, so as to produce absolute silence? If so you could use the Noise Gate plugin. If the prompt...

Re: Play function frozen

The main point to note is that SourceForge is no longer our download site. The current Audacity release is 2.1.2 which you can obtain from our site http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . When you install 2.1.2, look for the "Select Additional Tasks" screen, and in that screen, put a ch...

Re: Audacity 2.1 crashes

I am almost expecting now that 2.1.2 will crash too. Uninstall 2.0.5 using the same method you used to install it. Visit https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuhandbook1/+archive/ubuntu/audacity . It might be best on Linux Mint to open your software sources and add these lines manually: deb http://ppa.launchp...

the version I had already communicated in my first post, knowing full well that it is indispensable.anyway I repeat: Audacity 2.1.2 Sorry, it seems I did miss that. If users can put all three numbers of the Audacity version either at the top or bottom of the post it will be much easier to find in a...
