Re: Russian manual
LINK REMOVED. Sergey, as we keep telling you, we will not post links to an unsafe site like y...

Re: Audacity crashed and all tracks are silenced (Have the .
80 tracks is a lot and will probably make the project slow. There is no AUP file until you save the project. There is an AUTOSAVE file which is what Audacity was trying to recover from. It is important you don't save the project while it is incorrect. If you need to exit Audacity, force quit it in T...

Re: 2.1.2 - Timed record under Server 2016 Technical Preview
Thanks for the information. Needless to say I don't see the problem on Windows 10 where the timer loses count when leaving the Audacity window. Can you say what you are recording? Is it a USB recording device? Also would you be able to compare these two older builds? http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-ni...

Re: Recording with: Macbook, RCA cable to stereo, 2 Cd ays,
If you are connecting the mixer to the stereo input of the Mac then the Built-in Input - Source: Line-in is what you want to record from, but you don't have that input in Sound Preferences. :? Audacity > Quit Audacity. Launch Audacity, post the contents of Help > Audio Device Info... . Also open App...

Re: 2.1.2 - Timed record under Server 2016 Technical Preview
Glad to be of assistance. Figured it might be worth looking into the cause/solution for future versions of Audacity. Thanks - but I very much doubt the issue is confined to that unreleased version of Windows. Server 2016 is based on Windows 10. A very few people on both Windows 10 and Windows 7 hav...

Re: Win 8.1: Audacity crashes on Export As dialog
Thanks for writing. As far as I know, yes. Please, make sure you are using 2.1.2 from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . See the pink panel at the top of the page for how to find your Audacity version number. If the problem still exists in 2.1.2 after resetting Preferences in the installer, ...

Re: External microphone is not available
Did you restart Audacity? It sees the built-in mic, which is not listed in your Sound Preferences. Does connecting a headset to the headphones output disable the built-in mic?Scorp1us wrote:It works in GB, but not Audacity. It seems like whatever list of sources Audacity generates is not complete.

Re: export in specified folder, not in "cleaned"
I have also implemented the ("advertised" though missing) feature of applying to audio files listed in a text file. So it seems it can import files from different directories listed in the LOF file, but it merely imports them all into the same project window then exports the mix into a &q...
