Re: Starting Audacity
No not audacity. I was asking how to open the chorus effect app that was linked. After downloading it of course If the effect is http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=68007 then please see http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Download_Nyquist_Plug-ins#install . Note that the author do...

Re: Recording with: Macbook, RCA cable to stereo, 2 Cd ays,
So as I asked, did the "External microphone" appear when you connected the mixer to the computer? And has the "External microphone" now disappeared because you disconnected the mixer? Are you sure this Mac really has a stereo input separate from the audio output? It looks to me l...

Re: Using 5.1 sound system
Audacity playback is always maximum two channels, left and right. So you may want to configure your sound device for an application that only sends stereo, probably duplicating left and right to the other channels. Yes, actually Audacity gets two channels on analog input and produces two digital ch...

Re: Behavior when Label selected but not Label Track
If you want CTRL + X to cut the selected text, select the label track as well as the audio track (assuming you want the audio track selected). If you only have the audio track selected what you want to do is rather ambiguous. It is probably more likely that you want to cut the text and not the audio...

Re: Cannot get sound from mp3 imports anymore
My Audacity 2.1.0 on Win 7 does not contain any sounds from mp3 imports anymore. I usually drag and drop an mp3 file into Audacity, and for years this worked fine. Now I just get a line instead of a waveform, and no sound! Then this means you cannot write to the Audacity temporary directory specifi...

There is no answer in Google. That is j...

Re: Recording with: Macbook, RCA cable to stereo, 2 Cd ays,
I suggest you remove the Aggregate device and Multi-output device. You have no devices in them so they are of no use to you. Does Audio MIDI Setup show you "External microphone" because you connected the mixer? If so, what, does the input tab of Sound Preferences show you now? External mic...

Did resetting help? Your audacity.cfg did not cause export to crash on my system.

Re: export in specified folder, not in "cleaned"
What do you mean by "LOF file"? "List of files in basic text format", I am assuming - that's what I'm talking about. Yes, if you select the ""List of files in basic text format" filter then it should only show you LOF files. It sounds then if there are currently n...

Re: Difficulty with "Building on Mac" setup. CMake/config
To begin with, have you gone back to Xcode 7.1 or earlier, or applied the workarounds for Xcode greater than 7.1 mentioned in mac/Build.txt?undertone_dj wrote:Where do I go from here?
