You can capture a PNG image using Snipping Tool. Just press the Windows key and type "Snip" (without quotes).

And for MP3, and M4A including Apple Lossless, iTunes does actually save metadata changes to the file. However Audacity can't write a custom "Composer" tag for M4A.

I have two accounts on this computer. I discovered later that Audacity works peoperly when launhed from the other account... So either the temporary directory is at a different location, or what ever is doing the cleanup is not working on that account. If you did not change the temporary directory ...

The very initial problem was, in fact, "I'm out of room for temp files". RFE: "Make audacity pop up a dialog when it runs out of room to write files in the tempdir". :-) We already have a bug open for that (something we should fix): http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?...
