Re: Error compiling Audacity 2.1.3 since commit 61177a1.
Audacity is building fine now with Ubuntu 16.04 x64. Although i still need to apply my patches from my previous post. (Except the last one(project.cpp) Just for report. Aha. I recently tried building Audacity on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 and had that "isnan" issue. But I suspect we may need a more...

Re: Audacity does not save my changes
I tried to make a new file instead of overwriting and it works. I do not know what the problem might be. The version of Audacity is 2.1.2 Audacity renames the original MP3 file with a "0" suffix while overwrite-exporting. Sometimes when overwriting, that original MP3 can get left behind. ...

Re: Spectrogram: Format and Edit
Audacity takes no part in this. You need calibrated equipment and a lawyer with experience in legally-admissible recordings. If you leave "Meter dB range" in Interface Preferences at -60 dB this should give you the Y-axis you want. The X-axis always goes up to half the sample rate of the t...

Re: Audacity File Lost Or Was It
Please tell us what version of Audacity you are using (all three numbers, please see the pink panel at the top of the page). Were you trying to save an Audacity project or export to WAV or MP3? If you did not manage to save an Audacity project and you are using Audacity 1.2.x , it will tell you it h...

Re: Windows 10 Audacity 2.1.2
Could be bad audio device drivers. Did you upgrade to Windows 10 over previous Windows?

Re: Recording/Record Button Problem
Are you connecting the Duo to an empty USB port on the computer? You should not connect to a USB hub connected to a USB port.
Also try shutting down the computer then wait a few seconds before rebooting.

Re: Recording/Record Button Problem
If you updated to Windows 10 over previous Windows you can for 30 days roll back to previous Windows (in Settings). So are you choosing the USB (hw) recording device in Audacity)? If you have Transport > Software Playthrough enabled in the Audacity menus, you could try turning that off. Gale

Re: sound activated recording crash
This bug should be fixed in Audacity 2.1.2 and later http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1159.
So you could build the 2.1.2 tarball if you like http://audacityteam.org/download/source/.

Re: Stereo audio records/playsback as Mono
The USB Audio codec appears where it should be for the input. I can clearly hear that the sample audio is stereo, but the recording levels when checking levels are obviously mono, both channels exactly the same. Have you set the UCA 202 to stereo recording in Windows Sound? See this link http://man...
