Re: Windows 7 pro, 2.1.2 zip
Are you referring to an image inside that song's metadata? Unfortunately Audacity discards lyrics and metadata inside audio files because it does not understand them. You would have to make a copy of the file, edit the original, then extract the image from the copy and add it back to the edited orig...

Re: recording problem
According to the Q1202USB manual I am reading, that mixer has a "(USB/2-Trk) To Phones/CTRL RM" button. It should be above the "To MAIN MIX" button you were using.jojo wrote:where can I find the option ""(USB/2-Trk) To Phones/CTRL RM" ?

Re: Sudden force close on startup
I have been using audacity for years and I have never experienced this before. Whenever I attempt to open a file (after i click "Open") after a few seconds, the whole program pretty much collapses in on itself, and I receive no error message. Does the Audacity interface turns white and yo...

Re: recording problem
When I insert a track, and play, I hear nothing, but when I press the "to main mix" button on the mixer, I do have sound. However, when I press the "record" button on Audacity, all I see is a (new) track with a "line", which means no sound is recorded. When you use a X...

Re: Recording electronic drums latency
Audacity does not recognise MIDI input. Yes you should be monitoring in the Drum Kit. Assuming you can't set the USB Drum Kit as Audacity playback device, then I suppose you could run a cable from audio output of the computer to the MIX IN jack of the drum kit (as the TD-1KV Owner's Manual says). Re: Additional field positions will be randomized (Meta-Edit
I don't see any note in the code about why the tags are saved in a different order to that entered or why the logic is as it is. I have not found any workaround by editing the saved file manually. I see no evidence with even 20 added tags that any are not saved. If the tag order was correctly preser...

Re: Copying LPs to a computer
I have to set both the Microphone and Speaker settings to the USB device I am using to input music to my computer. If I set the Speaker to a different value, the input comes through looking like a sine wave. That's OK for my purposes. If I set the Speaker to the USB device, it plays through to my c...

Re: Key shortcuts
It's a bug in Audacity 2.1.2 on Mac (not only in Dutch).

Re: Copying LPs to a computer
Can you change the USB cable? Make sure you connect to an empty USB port on the computer. Don't use a USB computer hub. You can also try recording from it in Windows "Voice Recorder", assuming the UCA is set as default recording device in Windows Sound. If the waveform appears for six seco...
