Re: HELP - Amplify and Equalization.

... In this case, I'm amplification and equalization. And I have to describe whether this form of treatment can be applied to any type of audio in any application order. amplification and equalization are commutative , but that's not true of all audio processing effects. You know tell me what effec...

Re: Can't install new plugins

That's what I used to get my plugins. It still won't show up. On Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit I have successfully installed into Audacity the 32-bit GVST for Linux plugins (14May 2015) from http://www.gvst.co.uk/portpage.htm . Please have another look at my earlier posts in this topic in case you missed som...

Re: V. 2.1.2 Specrogram colors change

Hi Chris, So here is your screen grab from 2.1.0 where you have selected the entire spectral bandwidth (it would look the same in 2.1.1 if you had explicitly chosen "Spectral Selection log(f)"). http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=15513 And here it is from 2.1.2 where you ha...

Re: Can't install new plugins

Re: Sound finder in multiple files

the new plug-in opens the multiple files in multiple independent windows. So I have to apply a sound finder and generate output for each file separately. Is there a way to use these file-name labels on multiple files that are opened in a single Audacity window? The plugin does not import files. Use...

Re: V. 2.1.2 Specrogram colors change

http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=15506 That 2.1.2 image is with Spectral Selection off so it is not comparing like with like. Here again is your first posted image from 2.1.1: https://community.klipsch.com/uploads/monthly_08_2015/post-26262-0-81300000-1439079901.gif Those images d...

Re: V. 2.1.2 Specrogram colors change

I think Chris_A is referring to the low energy spectral selection colour being green in 2.1.1 and grey in 2.1.2. But isn't the real problem the gaudy colours that mask detail and blur the distinction between different bands? I complained about that https://sourceforge.net/p/audacity/mailman/message...

Re: V. 2.1.2 Specrogram colors change

Echoing Steve... BTW: I had just updated from V. 2.1.0 (two versions back) since I didn't receive an automatic notification via Audacity at launch that a new version was available (a feature that both REW and Hornresp provide, two other audio applications). Please subscribe here: http://lists.audaci...
