Re: Inputting third- and fourth-level keys in labels
Now I can move on to reporting this as a bug, including a link to this topic for reference. No need to report it to Audacity. Gale is the main man for tracking Audacity bugs, so he will have logged it already ;) I have not yet got round to putting it on Audacity Bugzilla. I've got to see what happe...

Re: Using Hydrogen drum track in Audacity
There is no Ubuntu "3.3" version.
You don't want to record the MIDI file. You want to Export > Song in Hydrogen which gives you a WAV file. Then start Audacity and drag the WAV file into Audacity.

Re: Inputting third- and fourth-level keys in labels
As a data point, on my Windows systems with English QWERTY layout, I can't use ALT GR to type special characters in any applications I tried, so have to use CTRL + ALT. But CTRL + ALT + 4 does type the € symbol in Audacity labels, if that shortcut is not allocated in Keyboard Preferences. Yes in Ubu...

Re: Increasing the volume of a selection
To make it as simple as possible, download this plugin to your computer http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=9658 . Place that plugin in the "Plug-Ins" folder where you have Audacity installed. In Audacity, click Effect > Add / Remove Plug-ins... . Find "Level Speech&quo...

Re: Trying to getr an autotuning plugin to work
Ok so I installed the Gsnap plugin on Audacity, but Audacity won't let me enable the plug in, every time I click enable and then ok, it does not enable the plugin Get the 32-bit version of GSnap, not the 64-bit version, even if you have a 64-bit computer. If you need more help please look at the pi...

Re: New troubles recording from digi piano and Windows 10
Please uninstall Audacity 1.3 and uninstall all other Audacity versions (there is no "2.12" or "2." version made by us). Then install Audacity 2.1.2 from us at http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . Look carefully for "Select Additional Tasks" in the installer (half...

Re: 24-Bit Recording Status
The worst drawback of Goldwave against Audacity that I found up to now is that monitoring ("Software Playthrough") during recording is not possible. To my point of view this is a knock-out criterion. The way that is described in the Goldwave Help is using Windows sound control and it is a...

Re: Using Hydrogen drum track in Audacity
can Audacity make a audio copy of Hydrogen playing a midi file , the sound card out is conected to my stereo , but it is an audio signal , why can;t Audacity find it ? "Sound card out" is not an input. You have to use pulseaudio volume control to present the output as a "monitor"...
