Chains can't record macros so they can't copy and paste, but have you tried putting Channel Mixer in the Chain?

Re: LP Recording...never more
A TRS cable is suitable for connecting to the line-in (blue). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_connector_%28audio%29#Modern_connectors . This is the sort of cable you need for that Audio AUX 3 5mm 1 8" TO RCA Male TO Male Stereo Cable . If you are now using the USB connection of the turn...

Re: 32 bits operations
I've tried making some 32-bit FLAC files myself (using "flake" encoder) and they came out with a normal 0 dB range. Hmm, the Windows binary from http://flake-enc.sourceforge.net/download.html insists on downconverting to 16-bit: S:\flake-0.11-win32\flake-0.11>flake 44.wav -o flake32bit.fl...

I do have a Line In and a Mic Input on my PC. Uninstalled and installed 2.1.2... no change. I added several screen shots... You said you wanted to try the Line-in on your PC. The Line-in on your PC is the blue port in your screenshot. According to your screenshot you have no cable connected to the ...

Re: Audacity Clock too fast
Also, what exactly are you recording? If you're recording playback of a file, either locally or streamed from somewhere, that is another reason for possible problems.

Hello, thanks for your interest in my question. Well I'm not sound tech, but talking with you could be interesting for Guillaume himself, I think. May I ask him ? I don't know who you are addressing, but I am usually the person who records feature requests, and without a clear answer to http://foru...

Re: Avoid hearing previous tracks on new track while recordi
Your machine, from what you say, has broken audio ports and at least one port that should be an output but which is mapped somewhere as an input. Is there still a web site for the manufacturer of this machine? If not, have you found out the motherboard make and model number and been to their site to...

Using the RCA output of the TT and the PC Line In produces the same result...flat line. Recording value defaults to 0 over and over...don't know what the means, moving it higher does not change anything. "Line (5 - USB AUDIO CODEC)" which you have selected as recording device in Device To...

Re: File Sizes on Resample
2.1.2.0 is not a genuine version number either. The actual version number can be found by selecting "About Audacity" from the Audacity "Help" menu. I'd guess that you are using "Audacity 2.1.2" but if it says "2.1.2.0" in "About Audacity", then the ...
