Re: Audacity exports in wrong file format.

The file should be OK. It just has the wrong file extension and you can rename it to .WAV. It's a known bug and they are working on it. It has already been fixed when exporting using "Other uncompressed files". So that fix will be in the next 2.1.3 version of Audacity when released. Gale

Presumably the version given in the profile (Windows 7).

Perhaps easeas meant 3.7 GB? You can't do anything with 3.7 MB.

In what way didn't it work? Distorted, mono recording?

For example for 440.56 Hz it gives the same answer - 5507 cycles - at 44100 Hz and 88200 Hz.

Perhaps I am not understanding what we are aiming for in a perfect loop. I thought it was a minimum length in whole seconds.

Re: Presonus Audiobox USB low recording level

Updating the Presonus drivers for Windows 10 didn't solve the issue but your Split Stereo seems to be a good temporary fix. I'm wondering if Presonus is even aware of the issue. I don't know where this comes from (Windows drivers or Presonus drivers) but it's intentional. If you plug-in two devices...

Re: massive problems recording in audacity 2.1.2 usind EMU E

It could be that installing the suggested drivers for the EMU might have avoided the need to disable the built-in device. I assume it should not be strictly necessary to disable the built-in sound device just because you have a PCI card. Are the EMU outputs and inputs additional physical ports on th...

You can, in a way, on Mac OS X. The CD tracks are mounted as AIFF files in Finder, then you can drag the AIFF files into Audacity.

Re: Low recording level from behringer UCA222

Solved! The lady who donated it went to control panel and disabled the PC's microphone and now Audacity gets the signal from the right source. I would have thought that's what the drop list by the microphone icon was for. So, if your behringer is only giving you a very low level and audacity seems ...

Re: Playing a CD into Audacity

Thanks Koz. Does that mean to rip the cd or the track before then transferring to audacity to enable editing?. Jas Rip the CD to one or more WAV files then drag the WAV files into Audacity. CD-ex lets you rip all tracks on the CD to one file, if that is useful to you. See: Tutorial - How to import ...

Re: Windows 10 Audacity 2.12 Cannot open files it has saved

I can't see anything obviously wrong with that AUP file. There are only 30 AU files. You could probably drag them into a new project and rearrange them by hand. However if you want to combine "Mrs C.aup" and the "Mrs C_data" folder into a ZIP file and post the ZIP on Dropbox or y...
