Re: Can't install new plugins
I tried installing it on Windows 10, and it STILL won't work! What should I do now? What won't work, exactly? Are you using Audacity 2.1.2 from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows ? Once again, you need the 32-bit version of GSnap. Once again, GSnap does not fully work in Audacity because Auda...

Re: 2 stereo tracks to 1 stereo track
I have Audacity 2.1.2 on mac. I've been reading the manual, but the program is slightly different. Then either you don't have 2.1.2 from http://audacityteam.org/download/mac or you are not reading the correct version of Audacity Manual. Here is the online Manual for 2.1.2: http://manual.audacitytea...

Re: Exporting multiple labels as aup?
We have this "feature request": Split to multiple projects: Split the project into smaller multiple projects by labels, similar to the "Export Multiple" command. Each project retains the per-track labels of the original single project. (9 votes) Do you want to "vote" fo...

Re: Exporting WAV 8-bit (mono) saves at .AIFF?
The bug is mentioned in the 2.1.2 Release Notes and has already been fixed in our source code so it will be fixed in the next 2.1.3 release of Audacity.

Re: always freezing up- Ubuntu STudio 16.04
Presumably that is the "Audacity Team Daily Build", which despite the name is a build that Ubuntu provide. So this here that wants to throw me an "update" is from Ubuntu and not you guys? We do not provide pre-compiled binaries for Linux, only source code. As I said, your best c...

Re: always freezing up- Ubuntu STudio 16.04
Did you build 2.1.3-alpha yourself or where did you get it from? Generally, please do not use alpha builds of Audacity unless you actively want to test Audacity. As far as I know, there is a perfectly reasonable 2.1.2 release of Audacity that you can install from the Ubuntu repositories. Use that f...

Re: Can't Install Audacity 2.12 on Mac OSX 10.6
Those are all fake versions unless you are making typos. Audacity always has a three-digit version number with two dots separating the numbers. I suggest you trash all your older versions then get 2.1.2 from us: http://audacityteam.org/download/ . See this topic for how to install Audacity correctly...

Re: missing data file(s)
I've been using Audacity for about a year. Then it is by definition out of date. I suggest you download the current Audacity 2.1.2 release from us: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . I keep having these frustrating "glitches" where parts of recordings disappear Make sure you have ...

Re: Allen & Heath QU32 board issues
None of this happened before updating to 16.04 and whatever Audacity version came with that. I don't expect it to be directly relevant, but what version of Audacity are you using (all three numbers as given at Help > About Audacity...)? You could try increasing "Audio to buffer" in Audaci...

Re: Windows Insider Preview
Perhaps you could keep us posted. The only thing that immediately concerns us is the Windows 10 build that will be released as the "Anniversary Update" in July.
