Re: Application Program to download plugins on MAC?
What browser are you using? It seems misconfigured. You should be able to go to http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=226528#p226528 , right-click or CTRL-click over the link "DeClicker.ny" in the white box, then choose Save Link, Save As or similar. When you have saved the file do...

Re: Audacity 2.1.3: incorrect speed and pitch
I started with Audacity 2.1.3 on Xubuntu 14.04.4 (I am also relatively novice on Linux !). Audacity 2.1.3 does not exist yet as a release. They are only alpha builds. Where did you obtain "2.1.3" ? I can no longer go into the preferences for the last Updates (kernel? Audacity?). Which Pre...

Re: problem sending audio signal from digital 8track to auda
when my old friend recorded from the 8-track to his computer I'm pretty sure he used the same cable I'm using now. But he presumably had a different model of computer. If it was an older desktop it may have had a proper blue stereo line-in separate from the mic input. Your computer manual may tell ...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 Audacity 2.1.2
audio:x:29:pulse That looks normal. You did not tell us where you got Audacity from. If you built it yourself you may not have built it correctly. I would shut down all other applications that are using your sound card. Open System Monitor and shut down any audio daemons that may be running. Then A...

Re: problem sending audio signal from digital 8track to auda
Probably you want to connect from the RCA master output on the Zoom. You would choose the input in Audacity's Device Toolbar . You would have to make sure Windows sees the combo audio port as a mic and not an output. The control for that could be in Windows Sound or in the control panel for the soun...
