Re: Ordering of files when exporting to WAV and burning to C
I placed all the labels and named them for the 12 tracks. Then when I went in to edit and delete the scratchy pause sections, I noticed that the labels had all shifted and further along the album I got the more accumulative the shift became. I repositioned them but I can't understand why they would...

Re: Audacity stops recording on Windows 10
Windows 10 does not stop you installing Audacity, unless you have downloaded a malware Audacity version made by someone else. You can download the current Audacity 2.1.2 from us at http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows . Windows might possibly complain about compatibility of Audacity if you h...

Re: Losing lossless
Also if you had a lossy VOB file in AC3 and converted it to WAV, that means you did not lose any audio data in that conversion. It does not restore the audio lost in the original conversion to AC3.

Re: Lose Sound with Audacity 2.2
There is no Audacity 2.2 supplied by us. If that is not a typo, I suggest you uninstall that version, run an anti-virus check on your computer, then install the current Audacity 2.1.2 release from our site: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows . FFmpeg is an optional library that lets Audaci...

Re: non Win10 audio driver not an issue here
This is probably better moved to the Windows board. Few people with Windows 10-incompatible audio drivers find that compatibility mode helps with Audacity, but I think most don't use the full compatibility troubleshooter, just using the Compatibility tab of the audacity.exe properties. Thanks for th...

Yes, put Truncate Silence above Chris's Compressor in the Chain which should make the Chain complete for all the files.

Re: Recording Skype, Microphone and FRAPS seperately?
All I want to do is record Skype separately from the game on FRAPS. Presumably you want both game and Skype recorded separately in stereo? But you want to hear both Skype and game while you are recording? You really want two recording applications running, one of which records only from Skype and o...

Re: Trying to recover lost project data after exporting audi
I think I accidentally saved and started exporting the project in a separate folder than I had been working on it for the entire time. Let's say I was initially working on the project in Folder A, but when I went to actually export the audio I accidentally chose to do so in Folder B. Now it seems a...
