Re: Isochronic Modulator Plug-in
I cannot find a download for IsoMod that works. Is this plugin still available? Does anyone have a current link? The file is here http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Isochronic_modulator . Obtain the correct 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 version of Audacity from http://www.audacityteam.org/d...

Re: Evening out the volume on a playlist
Sorry, that means choose that option in Export Multiple. I have been using the Export Multiple command. I have my 70 tracks in sequence, all numbered appropriately. Yet when I go to Export Multiple, it leaves some behind. It should not do that if you are choosing "Split files based on tracks&q...

Re: I could not open 71.4 MB WAV file with Audacity 5:12:05
Your Directories Preferences looks normal. You can't use Import Raw Data to import IMA (Intel) ADPCM, only VOX ADPCM. Are you 100% sure when you did File > Import > Audio... that you selected "FFmpeg-compatible files"? If it does not work and you are able to publish the file, I suggest you...

Re: Evening out the volume on a playlist
I understood you to mean that you have 70 Audacity tracks stacked on top of each other. If so, choose to Split files based on tracks. If you have any tracks with the Mute button down, they won't be processed for export. I am unsure of what you mean here Gale. I see in the Edit menu, under Clip Boun...

Re: Extract .zip files = install not! Why?
I installed 2.1.2, but then Ambience (a favored FX) crashed Audacity . Unfortunately, as it says in the 2.1.2 Release Notes : Playing audio while Ambience VST plug-in is open (including previewing any non-real-time preview effect) causes Audacity to crash. This has already been fixed in our source ...

Re: I could not open 71.4 MB WAV file with Audacity 5:12:05
OK so it is compressed WAV. You get 4 times smaller file size due to 4-bit instead of 16-bit, and about another 5 times compression due to only 8000 Hz sample rate instead of standard 44100 Hz. Have you installed FFmpeg and chosen "FFmpeg-compatible files" as suggested? It should not be ne...

Re: More than one Audacity version installed
The x86 Folder had been retained so I guess that any additions I had previously added eg plug-ins, remain in situ. Any third-party plugins you added yourself are retained. Plugins that are part of the Audacity installation will be updated (or removed if they are no longer part of 2.1.2). For exampl...

Re: Evening out the volume on a playlist
I just scrolled down to Track 15 in Metadata. By the time I reached number 15, three tracks had 'dropped out'. I haven't gone on to number 70, but at this rate, if I had I am sure there would be many more missing. As I said in the last post, all these tracks are numbered sequentially, starting at 2...

Re: Evening out the volume on a playlist
I mistakenly clicked on Time Shift and now cannot 'unclick' it. Time Shift and the other tools in Tools Toolbar are not a toggle. Once clicked, they are "on" until you click the button for another tool. So, click the I-Beam button to go back to Selection Tool. I will try to make this clea...

Re: More than one Audacity version installed
In answer to your question ... I would have installed version 2.1.2 into existing folder in accordance with faq ... Windows: How do I install Audacity, and do I have to uninstall a previous version first? . Just checking my Installed Programmes (via Local Disc/Prog Files x86/Audacity) I can find on...
