Re: Phnx MT202pcs Speaker Phone gives Error in playback & re
when I emptied the trash and then restarted, I found the exact same playback problem I've been describing in this thread, even though I tried the various changes in Project Rate & Sample Format. This is my last shot. ;) Download and install Soundflower-2.0b2.dmg and Soundflowerbed.app from the ...

Re: Upgraded to 2.1.2 and cannot monitor or adjust input vol
So I went and chose 1.2.4 and it worked just like it used to, can change volume on the fly. Being that you don't seem to believe me, attached is a screen shot of a song starting at 5, down to 0, then up to 10. So the only difference is that I went from 2x back to 1x, everything else in computer and...

Re: Time track
When I load several tracks at one time to do basic editing on, the last track loaded will have the time track above the work area correctly displayed. After I export that file and close it, the next track, and all subsequent tracks, do not correctly show the time track. Is this a setting I'm not fi...

Re: Raw Master Backup question
You're using an old version of Audacity. In the version you have, choose "Other uncompressed files" and click the "Options..." button. If you upgrade to 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows then WAV 32-bit float is an explicit list item, and there is no "O...

Re: Error Importing Audio from Video Files [SOLVED]
No problem. It isn't as intuitive as it might be. I will see about adding an image of that streams dialogue to the Manual. I will mark this topic [SOLVED] and lock it now. Gale Oh wow! I am such a ditz! I never actually selected the streams. I don't know how I overlooked this the entire time. Thank ...

Re: Distortion when recording
FWIW, I used to know someone whose sound card had HDMI input and Audacity could record from it if it was an audio-only signal. I don't know the computer model. I am trying to make suggestions to the user. You can use that box to record HDMI input if you also have a digital sound card with optical in...

Re: recorded track plays back double speed
You can change the project rate bottom left of Audacity. To get directly to the Recording Tab of Windows Sound, right-click over the speaker icon by the system clock, then choose "Recording Devices". When you record while playing back other Audacity tracks, all tracks should be the same ra...

Re: Upgraded to 2.1.2 and cannot monitor or adjust input vol
It is not very intuitive but you can click OK in the Audio Device Info to save a file, which you could then attach. You have a lot of USB audio devices. Were you using all those when you had 1.x? What is SB for iTunes? Are all these USB devices connected directly to separate USB ports on the compute...

Re: Error Importing Audio from Video Files
It should still import multiple tracks, correct? Not automatically. You have to select both streams if you want both streams in the "Select stream(s) to import" dialogue. Do you see that dialogue? If you select no streams and press OK, then no audio imports, and you will see the error and...
