Re: Export not working
Using Krusader double pane file manager or the native File Manager, the only file in the directory is 1.mp3. But, every time I load and attempt to "Export" that file, Audacity shows that the previously exported files are in the directory. Up to 9 of them so far! BUT, they are not there!! ...

Re: Problem while Recording a Vinyl Record
I am not an expert in DC offset, but the track you posted is good stereo and according to the code at http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=195693#p195693 when made mono, there is minimal and variable DC offset which would suggest to me that it's occurring naturally. So unless someone wants ...

Re: Timer Record Not Working
This pc (laptop) had successfully run audacity before so its puzzling. Perhaps this is related but the morning when this started, I turned the machine back on after an overnight hibernate and I had to reset pc's time and date. Do you recall how exactly you reset the time and date? I've also tried u...

Re: Presonus Audiobox not scanned
it actually works when I use a multi-USB socket thingy, so I'm guessing it was a USB 3.0 issue. Do you mean a USB computer hub, that attaches to a USB port to provide more USB ports? If so, a computer hub isn't desirable for audio devices - it can lead to dropouts or "error opening sound devic...

Re: Problem while Recording a Vinyl Record
Some waveforms are naturallly asymmetrical - horn solos are an example. What is the music and what does it sound like? Try recording another piece. The peak levels are good - not too loud, not too quiet. You can use Effect > Amplify to make the recording louder. The recording looks like dual mono (b...

Re: Upgrading 2.1.0 to 2.1.2 WHERE? HOW?
If FFmpeg (lower case "m") is not compatible with Audacity then Libraries Preferences will say that FFmpeg was not found.kozikowski wrote:Does 2.1.2 "know" if it's trying to access the wrong FFMpeg?
2.1.2 uses the same version of FFmpeg as 2.1.0.

Re: Presonus Audiobox not scanned
Yes it is a known problem with Audacity 2.1.2. If any audio devices do not have proper Windows 10 drivers (in this case your AudioBox) then Audacity does not see any devices. This is fixed in 2.1.3-alpha so that all devices except the one with bad drivers will be recognised. So you may want to try t...
