The Vig may open a new topic to confirm if they want to.

Re: Windows 10 start up
I'm using Windows 10 I am unable to get the program to recognize the EXCAP player. I just wanted to convert some old concert cassettes to MP3 BUT I can't get past step 3!!! The drop down list states no device found.Since there is no one to talk to about this, I am returning the product. If you have...

Re: No volume on CD burned from audio file
burn an Audio CD not a Data CD It's been my experience if you cross those by accident, the Music CD player will not recognize the disk at all, not play "silent tracks." But I guess that is possible. Yes mine too, but I have seen "time counting" on a data CD containing WAV files ...

Re: Audacity Stops Recording WITH sufficient Space
I was wondering if it's possible that Audacity would stop recording despite the fact that one has ample available space? If so, is there something that can be done about it? Yes it is very possible if you have a USB recording device and you have not rebooted the computer for a long time, especially...

Re: No volume on CD burned from audio file
I'm sorry, you are correct. I didn't "save" the recording, I imported it as a WAV file. You mean "exported". ;) And the CD will playback on my laptop on Windows Media player, but not on my CD player. Set Media Player to burn an Audio CD not a Data CD (use the "Burn options&...

Re: Export not working [SOLVED]
Thanks for the replies. Let me see if I can figure out how to explain this... First, it appears to be fixed! I got the 2.1.2 version from the Audacity website (was running 1.5). Just to be clear for others, the Audacity site http://www.audacityteam.org/download/linux only directly provides source c...

Re: Recording streaming audio
Thanks, Gale, for that explanation. I have actually gone through via Control Panel and updated the driversd and got the message back "The driver you ar using are the most up to date available" Unfortunately, that is not an absolute guarantee that you have the best drivers. It just means t...

Re: Can't recognize AUP file
Not sure if this is right thread. It is less confusing for the original poster if we start a new topic for your issue, which I have done. Also please tell us what version of Audacity you are using. Give us all three numbers as per the pink panel at the top of the page. I saved my aup file at end of...

Re: Problem while Recording a Vinyl Record
The piece was from a not so official Jimi Hendrix recording, so the recording quality isn't very good. Alternatively I've recorded a piece from another album but the problem remains. If it's only occurring with one record, or only with that piece of music, then I'd not worry about it. The file post...
