Re: Want ver 2.0.6 back!
We've had lots of problems with keyboard use of Audacity since upgrading to wxWidgets 3.0.2. That change happened in Audacity 2.1.2. One problem has been getting the selection in the first control of the effect while also having focus on the OK button so that ENTER will apply the effect. If you use ...

Re: Pluginregistry.cfg missing in new Linux Mint build from
get no sound anywhere else when Audacity in use. That should not be the case if you choose the pulse playback device in Audacity. Yes that tends to freeze up, but PortAudio have been working on that http://audacity.238276.n2.nabble.com/Fw-Portaudio-Portaudio-PulseAudio-HostAPI-td7575881.html . Thos...

Re: Select | Track-Layer(s) Split | Only SEL within each spl
I do have the regions made-split via `Labeled-Audio`. How would I then be able to select *Them All*? Labeled Audio works on the audio of all labels that are encompassed by the selection you make in the Label Track. The selection remains the same after processing. It would probably help if you said ...

Re: View | Track-Resize | All layer tiny, how to make big
It's probably `collapsed`. * Collapse (all-tracks) + CTRL+SHIFT+C * Uncollapse (all-tracks) + CTRL+SHIFT+X This isn't the case, becuase I can't so-called `Uncollapse` the tracks that are already shrunken in size As I said, the tracks only expand to the size they were before you collapsed them. To h...

Re: White noise during recording with AKAI EIE Pro
A few people on the AKAI forum say that using a USB 2.0 Hub and then not connecting any other USB devices may help. May be worth trying at least.

Re: Audacity hung on recording
You could start by checking the tightness of both ends of the USB cable then rebooting the computer. Then please tell us your Audacity version number (all three numbers) and where you obtained it. See the pink panel at the top of the page. I assume you mean Front Mic not Frone Mic. Have you checked ...

Re: Cannot record from Casettes
Forget the combo in/out connection on the computer. You need a special TRRS connector to use it as an input and it's a microphone input to amplify weak signals, not suitable for a strong signal from a cassette player. Also it is probably mono. Here are some USB interfaces that give you a proper ster...

Re: White noise during recording!
There is no working driver for the AKAI EIE Pro for El Capitan. Are we talking about http://www.akaipro.com/index.php/product/eiepro#overview ? That has OS X 10.11 drivers http://www.akaipro.com/index.php/product/eiepro#downloads . I was originally looking at http://www.akaipro.com/product/eie#syst...

Re: Select | Track-Layer(s) Split | Only SEL within each spl
In what way is this different to http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?t=93016? What do you want to do to the labeled audio? There is no multiple select of separate regions except using Labeled Audio.

Re: View | Track-Resize | All layer tiny, how to make big
Audacity_2.1.2 Win10_Home_x64 During the process of adding labels I accidently pressed a keybind that make every single track tiny (as if it shrunk in-size). How do I make them all to default-view once again? Also, what keybind did I press to have this happen? I assume you used CTRL + SHIFT + C (Co...
