Re: Editing Sound on Karaoke CD+Gs. Can it be done?
As a musician, I would find this method very irritating to play along to. Especially for the drummer. But if you want to try, there are several problems: 1) You would need special CD+G burning software that can properly interlace the graphics with the audio. If that exists then you've crossed the f...

Mixer Toolbar selector is always greyed out on Vista
Under Vista the Mixer Toolbar dropdown selector is ALWAYS greyed out because Vista treats every input source as a separate recording device in its own right. Re: Label Track limit on text entries?
are you sure you are using 1.3.3? That version should be able to cope with overlapping labels e.g . if you type in one label and it overlaps one that already exists, the one that is in the way should jump down out of the way.

Re: Error installing 1.2.6 and 1.3.3
Are you using a download accelerator / manager? Many of these are
confused by the Sourceforge download pages, and don't work properly, giving a failed download.
Try disabling them and downloading the file using your standard web
browser and be sure to left click NOT right click > Save As ..

Re: Mike/Line in/etc,etc Not functional???
Nothing to do with bad installation of Audacity so all these posts are in the wrong Forum . You have installed Audacity or you would get a Windows error. Windows problems are mostly down to bad sound drivers. Update them: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Updating_Sound_Device_Drivers Try...

Re: How to install in Mac OS X?
The dmg should unpack to a folder. You could simply start Audacity from that folder, or you can drag the whole folder to your /Applications, and start audacity from there. It doesn't need any further installation. ;) Just to clarify, you should not launch Audacity from the mounted dmg. This will gi...
