Re: Temp Files Should Be Deleted During Batch Chain Applicat
This has been pointed out to us before, and I added your "vote" for this to our Feature Requests page on our "Wiki": http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Feature_Requests#Improved_Resource_Control We can't say this is any priority for us at present as we are extremely sho...

Re: Red cursor stuck when trying to record Stereo Mix
If the Realtek device won't record stereo mix with any recorder you could try the Freecorder toolbar: http://freecorder.com/freecorder3/ It runs in your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) but will record audio playing in any application on your computer (e.g. Windows Media Player). It uses a softw...

Re: Changing Bass
What source are you recording from? Generally you can't change the bass level you are recording unless you can control this in the source itself. But check you project rate bottom left of the Audacity screen is 44100 Hz. If it is lower that will stop you capturing the higher frequencies.

Re: Red cursor stuck when trying to record Stereo Mix
You could try updating the Realtek drivers as a first step:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... ce_Drivers
If you set Realtek stereo Mix as the recording device in the Windows Control Panel then SoundMapper should record from stereo mix as it maps to the current device.

Re: Open *.mpa files in Audacity 1.3.4
This problem will be fixed in 1.3.5 - valid .mpa files will be imported (whether or not you have LAME, which is only concerned with exporting).

Re: Bad sound quality.
what are you recording - voice with microphone, LPs with USB turntable or what. In what way are the recordings bad? Set the input level right

and set the Project Rate bottom left of the Audacity screen to 44100 Hz.
