Re: Help with Plugins - macOS Sierra
Are the plugins registry and plugins settings at the Support Data meant to be unchecked / unticked? Put a checkmark by all the items. Any items that are unchecked are not included in the report. Gale They are all ticked. The plugins are still undetected Help > Generate Support Data... is for genera...

Please post the complete information from Help > Audio Device Info..., not just the top part. Click the OK button in Audio Device Info and it will offer to save a text file. Then you can attach the file here. Please see here for how to attach files: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&a...

Hi OldEd,
Could you preview your posts please before submitting? It was near impossible to tell who was saying what in your post.
If it's easier, just use e-mail style quotes by putting ">>" before the text you want to quote.
Thanks
Gale

Re: Help with Plugins - macOS Sierra
The Plug-ins are there! opening audacity 2.1.3 from terminal somehow forces the plug-ins to be read! I then quit Audacity, opened from the Applications folder and the plug-ins were gone again. Returning to Terminal and opening from there includes the plug-ins again. This sounds a bit like issues on...

What did you restart? The Mac? A few people seem to be having problems on Sierra with Nyquist plugins.rakunkel wrote:Restarted and it now appears.

Also if you delete files in the cloud, doesn't sync try to mirror that change in the locally synced folder?

Re: Recording devices volume constantly resets itself to zer
I didn't change anything myself. The program was working fine and then it didn't. I tried changing things in the recording devices, but can't seem to get the level to stay. The computer updated itself over the last week, but it says the drivers are up to date or are the best ones to use. I did not ...

Re: output sound volume
I don't see your comment on " Tried it, no difference at all ." Where do I go from here? Nothing can be fixed until we can reproduce the problem. No-one else has the problem that you are experiencing and no-one here has a working installation of Snow Leopard. Apple dropped support for Sno...

Re: Effects do not load settings
The problem is solved by deleting pluginsettings.cfg. Thank you! There was another one file, you didn't say: pluginregistry.cfg, which I also had to remove for normal work. I am glad the problem is solved. I have never known it necessary to delete pluginregistry.cfg as well as pluginsettings.cfg to...

It says clipping warning - red bar. I changed the word "warning" to "indicator" for the next Manual.cyrano wrote:Thx, Gale. That's what I suspected, but the word "clipping bar" isn't used in the manual...
