Re: G Verb
Hi, I am trying to compose a song with a Piano and Bells and I want to make it sound like its in a giant room, but I don't know the right math or numbers to make the quality sound right. I want to make my song sound like it was playing somewhere far! If anyone knows the right numbers for the Room s...

Re: Bug in .aiff export
I get the same problem. Nothing reads the Audacity AIFF - Quicktime, iTunes, and Bias Peak all fail. Perhaps hardware config is an issue? I am using dual G4.... Yes, but have you renamed it to WAV, because they are WAV files even if they have AIFF extension. And would you be able to try the develop...

Re: USB Driver not installing
I have XP and even though the AK5371 is listed under Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices, it will not allow me to set the turntable as a default. Any other suggestions? It does not have a red mark or yellow by it. So you click in the dropdown box on the Audio tab of Sounds and Audio Devices, arrow up ...

Re: USB Driver not installing
My unit is ITUT-201 and there is NO tone arm counter weight.... Sounds like I need to JUST take this thing BACK.. Maybe, if you are sure the stylus looks straight looked at front-on. There are no online details for this turntable, but a record player without an adjustable weight for the arm i...

Re: Does ffmpeg feature not work on Mac?
When I try to use the the ffmpeg installer, audacity is looking for avformat-52.dll which it will never find for obvious reasons. Should it not be looking for libavformat.52.dylib? 1.3.6 Mac release does look for the Windows .dll in error, but this was corrected in source code on 18 November so tha...

Re: USB Driver not installing
If this is a USB turntable, can you state make and model? Does turning the counter-weight at the end of the tone arm counter-clockwise help?

Re: Shortcuts with ALT on Mac
When Mac users edit Keyboard shortcuts their preferences do not always get saved as expected. E. g. if I cleared Cmd+S and replaced it with Ctrl+S and click on OK it does not stick and when I come back to edit the key bindings in preferences it is Cmd+S again. If I had set it to Ctrl+Alt+Cmd+S it w...

Nightly Build to fix these issues available for testing
The build for testing is here . Export Multiple does now work properly on Windows and Linux with the explicit AIFF and WAV filters (GSM WAV only supports mono as per format specification), and with the options chosen with the other "Other Uncompressed Files" filter. Can the people who've p...

Re: Bug in .aiff export
I've experienced this exact issue when attempting "export multiple" after separating recorded tracks with labels. I select "export as aiff" but, regardless, am notified that export is occurring as .wav. Oddly, files appear in save location with the .aiff extension, but these are...

Re: Sound problems on 2nd track
On first try, 1.3.6 seems to have solved the problem. Thanks! Excellent. Another possible explanation might be that 1.3.6 has a bit more separation of playback and recording threads than 1.2.6, which separation you would of course get if you were playing in a separate application. But I'm still a b...
