Re: Bug? Channels available in 1.2.6 are missing in 1.3 beta
I can confirm this problem. I use the Delta 1010LT soundcard from m-audio and it does'n detect the 8 analog-input channels the hardware provides. Probably you could implement an option in the settings called "force multitrack" before you get the detecting correct" As I stated in my l...

Re: 1.3.5 problems exporting, wav files end up blank
The only problem we now know about with export multiple occurs if: * your Import / Export Preference is "read directly" * you choose to overwrite the WAV or AIFF file(s) in the export multiple dialogue * you choose the exact same path and file name to write the file(s) to. Ok, that does n...

Re: Fix for Portable Audacity settings not recognised
I'll visit this later. I'm starting from zero because I have no idea what this is or why I would want it.Koz The only possible requirement I think to test this is a USB stick or even a CD ROM. Extract the contents of the latest .dmg: http://www.audacity.homerow.net/index.php?dir=mac%2F to a USB sti...

Re: 1.3.5 problems exporting, wav files end up blank
Sorry for not replying earlier but I forgot about this thread when I moved over to using 1.3.6 on a Mac, which seemed much more reliable and very rarely had this problem. What I'm now seeing is this same behaviour which is why I remembered this thread. Yes, what I am essentially doing a lot is impo...

Re: How do you get vst's like guitar rig to work on beta
I have the new guitar rig3 which if you have it you know comes with a vst plugin but befor i try tht i want to know how to even get plugins on the beta You can't run a VST plug-in of that complexity in Audacity. I suggest you use it as a standalone (or in a host that gives full VST/VSTinstrument fu...

Re: Audacity 1.3.6 crashes with .lof files
Hi Steve I don't think the exact .lof syntax is the problem. I tried on a Windows build from CVS HEAD with this .lof: file "C:Track No02.wav" # displayed file "C:Track No04.wav" offset 5 # displayed with a 5s offset File "C:Track No05.wav" # displayed Behaviour is the s...

Re: Bug Report -- VISTA
Thanks, Ray. Our test machine has Service Pack 1, so assuming you're on that too, that sounds hopeful. I think you can check that in the Windows Control Panel at System and Maintenance.

Re: Audacity Crashed - recovered manually
You have to use the correct version of Audacity Recovery Utility for Mac, according to whether you have an Intel Mac, or an older PPC one (like a G4). Thanks Gale but as I said I've only got a PC and not a mac. Yes, Koz, Crash Recovery Utility has different versions for Windows and the two Mac arch...
