I followed al instructions to install the VST plugins, but... - some of them works fine! (Basschorus, Bassphaser, Freeverbtoo) - some of them (Bass peamp V.1 , NWBASS_V1_1) appear but processed sound is only whewhewhewhewhe etc. - some of them don't appear in de effects menu (Robosynt, Silver Bass)...

I don't think that bobwd is reporting "freeze" behaviour with the timer - rather he seems to get the same behaviour as me i.e. the timed recording not stopping at the pre-set time. He said twice that after the timer stopped, he had to force quit Audacity. I call that a freeze on the basis...

Please give steps 1, 2, 3 to reproduce from launch, and preferably screenshots too. It doesn't make much sense unless Audacity thinks linking is on or tracks are selected when they are not.

About 2/3's of the way through the song (the total song length was about 4:30) for some reason, when I deleted a section on the rhythm track, it would do the same on the lead track, even though I only had the area on the rhythm track selected. Same for inserting, it would insert across both tracks....
