Re: Feedback request: Typing into label tracks
Thanks, Al. I think this bug is a valid problem because power users who want to do repetitive actions will very likely set up unmodified shortcuts, not just for transport. Discussions on -devel before seemed to have come to the consensus that creating a label just by typing (without CTRL + B first) ...

Re: Multiple Export meta tags
the only "working workflow" at the moment is: 1. Enter everything BEFORE export in the Metadata Editor. 2. Then start "Export Multiple" with asking before each file. This fills track name and number. Yes, that's true with the Nightly Build at the moment, and is more of a nuisanc...

Re: 1.3.12 Beta language choice in Interface
Richard has committed a change: http://code.google.com/p/audacity/source/detail?r=10429 "Correct handling of builds where the name of the Audacity binary is not "audacity", via the --program-prefix and --program-suffix options to configure". It doesn't seem to help the case where...

Sorry, the developers don't look at the forum much. You have a much better chance getting a response posting to one of the mailing lists . Or if you don't want to subscribe to a mailing list in order to make a bug report, send an e-mail to our feedback address so that the report can be dealt with/f...

Re: Generate tone series in Nyquist
Thanks, Trebor. I finally got around to changing the corrupt zip on the server. I think it's OK (works in IE and Firefox). Chrome insists on pulling the old corrupt file despite clearing the download list, but that must be a Chrome bug.

Re: 1.3.12 Beta language choice in Interface
If the change to using system language is responsible for this, you'd want a build before r10067 (Jan 19th): http://code.google.com/p/audacity/source/detail?spec=svn10416&r=10067 I just rebuilt without --program-suffix=-SVN at the configure step, and Nyquist effects and language change in the in...

Re: Recording at 24bit appears to be 16 bits padded to 24bit
when the linear goes to zero why doesnt the db scale to to max negative? mine usually bounces from -24 to -48. once it got as low as -72 but that was a very rare occurence. never hits -96. when the linear goes to zero shouldnt the db scale go to zero (as close as it can considering its db and binar...

Re: 1.3.12 Beta language choice in Interface
I can replicate the problem in 1.3.13 Alpha SVN if I follow your steps above (the only departure from my normal procedure is the --program-suffix=-SVN at the configure step). That gives me the Audacity executable at usr/local/bin which is called "audacity-SVN" instead of "audacity&quo...

I did have a quick re-scan through this thread but couldn't see what you mean here. In what way is the dB scale way off?mswlogo wrote:...I wish Audacity would fix the dB scale being way off.
