Re: Tones below 100Hz result in a high pitched squeak
I just composed this while Koz was replying (you're in an earthquake zone - right Koz)? Anyway since the reply is largely different I'm going to post it as it was... Can you hear 7 Hz? The generally accepted range of human hearing is 20 Hz - 20 kHz. Look at a second of your waveform - can you see 7 ...

Re: fichiers avec l'extension ".lsp"
I assume you speak English, so I am replying in that language because I can't reply in French for technical matters. The Modules folder is mostly do with Scripting and not explicitly do with Nyquist although there is a Nyquist work bench that runs as a module. To add or edit a chain, do it in Audaci...

Re: Now I am trying to record from my sound card- NO GO!
So the SnakeLight cord wouldn't work... See http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=37128 - it works but you are expecting it to hardware monitor when it is never intended to support that. so I am now trying to simply record from the sound card and I get an error: Error while opening...

Re: Latency in sound when playing bass guitar thru Audacity
I have a LightSnake cord plugged into my Bass Guitar and into my PC. When running Audacity, I selected SOFTWARE PLAY THROUGH in the preferences of Audacity and my bass does play, though it has a latency in the sound, meaning I play a note and half of a second later the note comes through my headpho...

Re: reduce or remove 'echo'
The echo seems to be in both channels, so it isn't a case that the channels are desycnhronised. Are you sure you have got all effects turned off in your sound card control panel?

Re: music info missing
I am using Audacity beta with Win 7 to convert a lot of reel to reel tapes to digital to be used ultimately with a Sonos home listening system. After I convert a tape to digital I fill out the Audacity form for information about the music, but when I play it back in Windows Media Player, the inform...

Re: Could Not Install MP3 Encoding Library
The straight downloads didn't work but downloaded the file zipped and it worked. Btw, FYI I'm using Google Chrome (don't know if the browser could cause a problem with a straight download). Once browsers or download managers get a faulty copy of a downloaded file, then when you download the file ag...

Re: Timer recording fails as does recovery
Today, I saved a new empty project, started it to record for x time. And it completed. I then saved it and closed it. I started it up but the blocks were identified as orphans. So, effectively, I lost the project. Have to do it again. PS Since posting this reply, I attempted to bring up yesterday's...
