Re: New plug-in: Channel Mixer
Thanks, Steve. I found a superfluous "A:" in the new FAQs plus of course you want sometime to add the new "Extra Narrow" and "Narrow Stereo" presets into it. Maybe it would be good to have the presets in the FAQ in the same order as they are in the plug-in? Might it be ...

Re: New noise removal algorithm
I'm playing with the new algorithm in the 9/23/2010 build of 1.3.13. I'm not able to achieve as good a results with it as with 1.3.12. 1.3.13 seems to reduce signal level along with noise more than did 1.3.12. Have you checked my post above ? In other words if you have the Unicode Nightly (check He...

Re: Audacity 1.3.12 on rightclick menu
Due to a Windows limitation, "Open with" won't support more than one executable on the computer having the same name.
So rename the Audacity Beta executable to something other than "audacity.exe". This is noted in the 1.3.12 Release Notes.

Re: Notch Filter
Thanks both, for this improved version. I've got slight reservations about restricting the slider maximum to 10000 Hz, because some people may still want to use this as a quick "just type it in" EQ attenuator rather than specifically a noise tool. But 20000 Hz makes the keyboard increments...

Re: Can't Scroll Left and right?
OK, I do understand. A bit of patience is required then! If there's anything we can do in the meantime (filing a bug or whatever), just let me know... I can raise a bug since we've got some positive information that int wxMouseEvent::GetWheelAxis ( ) const has been added to wx2.9. Thanks for contac...

Re: OS 10.6.3 and LAME .dmg installation bug
If the dmg says the files installed they probably did. Unless you were showing hidden files and folders , you won't see them. If you had permissions problems (quite frequently reported on 10.6.4), usr/local/lib may be read-locked in which case Audacity will report that it can't find the dylib file. ...

Re: New plug-in: Channel Mixer
Just had a look Steve, very nice. I suppose I had to find one. Line 86 of the FAQ has: "A. The "Vocal Remover (mono)" setting "cancels out" sound from the cent re of " i.e. "cent re" instead of "centre". The only thing I could think to add to the FAQ...
