Re: Tone control plug-in

I would be strongly against permanently losing some of the sliders - in the "reduced interface" mock-up that you referred to earlier, I very purposefully illustrated the number of bands as user selectable. OK, I had forgotten user could choose number of bands, sorry. But even that control...

Re: Tone control plug-in

I'm OK in principle as long as it replaces Bass Boost. I'm generally OK with that, but there are some issues that should be considered. Another issue may be that Tone Control will be well down at the bottom of the Effect Menu. Could be counteracted slightly by calling it "Bass/Treble Control&q...

Re: Sliding Pitch and Time Crash

Hi Clayton,

Is there any ETA on just committing a decent version without the previous crash and with Bug 172 fixed? Or is a new version of the library really imminent now?

Thanks

Re: Ubuntu 10.10, Audacity 1.3.12 Beta, & Freeverb issue

I removed Ardour and cleaned up using Ubuntu Tweak. Suddenly Freeverb no longer created noise on being applied. Doesn't make much sense unless there was a conflict with a duplicate version of Freeverb - did it only appear once in the Audacity menu? I have started trying to use Gverb, but the settin...

Re: Playback jumps from track to track

I want to name each song, but somehow I'm not getting the jist of it. I have gone to the examples and it tells me what to do. I have Audacity Beta and Win 7.. I go to tracks and it says to click on A dd Label at selection. Then I start playing first song. When it comes to end. This is where I am st...

Re: Playback recording

I have Windows XP... - i think you're right about my computer recording what im hearing on my computer, instead of what comes from my recording source. That should be fixable in Sounds and Audio Devices or in the Realtek Control Panel, providing the Realtek drivers are working correctly. If you sel...

Re: big and bold 'read me first' in board index page?

What about creating a "sticky" in the "Click Here Before Posting" topics in the 1.2 and 1.3 sections? Call it "How to Post" and colour it red. Is it possible to make the "Click Here Before Posting" titles red? If users still ignore the instructions, then ther...

Re: big and bold 'read me first' in board index page?

One way may be to create a locked Forum located above "International" called "How to use the Forum" with sticky topics as required. But I wouldn't be surprised if few read it, or carried on posting in the wrong Forum. My preference on grounds of efficiency would be to force OS an...
